This photo of the bathing beauties has scratches, and the garden hose is an
obstruction. In the finished image, the hose is gone, the scratches removed, and
the missing hand (covered by the hose) is replaced. The contrast and brightness have been improved.
And
image was cropped and resized.
These before and after photos show what is possible when the
objective to to remove something unwanted, and improve overall quality and
interest.

This picture of a church bell tower
was taken through a window.
After zooming in, cropping, and getting rid of
the power lines, it becomes a work of art!

Here's a case of putting something (or someone) in,
using two
different pictures, each with someone different missing (well, someone had
to take the picture!).
One of the missing people is lifted from one picture
and placed in the other. Now the family portrait is complete!
